This is a very nice ride in the west of Phoenix.  It starts in Verrado, a development at the foot of the White Tank Mountains.  After a flat start through farmlands, it features a 40 mile shallow climb past the old Vulture Silver Mine and Vulture Peak to Wickenberg, AZ.  A big descent and the final 15 miles through the suburbs of Surprise and Buckeye lands you back where you started.
